COURSE DESCRIPTION

  • This course will explore the three main branches of Statistical Quality Management techniques
  • It will point out the differences, subtle and obvious between them so the student can determine which technique or combination of techniques can best fit their needs.
  • It will demonstrate by a short history and participation in enjoyable experiments the efficacy of Statistical methods.
  • It will introduce methods so that the student can learn the fundamentals of each of these systems
    • Statistical Quality Control
    • Statistical Process Control
    • Six Sigma fundamentals
  • It includes workshops and sample forms
  • It will explore informal statistical methods of managing events and business

COURSE OBJECTIVE

The Objective of the course is to familiarize the attendant with the systems, their strengths and their weaknesses so they can determine if they fit into their organizational needs. It will give an understanding or refresher of the elements that are needed to use which ever system they might employ. It will show how they can utilize the statistical technique in mini systems to manage their department, division or entire organization.
