SPRING’s Capability Development Grant (CDG) ,Supportable Area: Enhancing Quality and Standards (EQS)
SPRING Singapore is an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for helping Singapore enterprises grow. Capability Development Grant (CDG) at a Glance
The grant defrays up to 70 percent* of qualifying project costs such as consultancy, training, certification and equipment costs. To encourage more SMEs to build business capabilities, the application process for grant support of S$30,000 or less has been simplified.
* SPRING’s enhanced funding support of up to 70% would be effective for three years until 31 March 2018.
Innovation & Capability Voucher at a Glance
The Innovation & Capability Voucher (ICV) is a simple to apply, easy-to-use voucher valued at $5,000, to encourage SMEs to develop their business capabilities. SMEs can use the voucher to upgrade and strengthen their core business operations through consultancy in the areas of innovation, productivity, human resources and financial management. Each SME is entitled to a maximum of eight vouchers.
All local SMEs can apply for CDG/ICV if they meet the following criteria:
- Registered and operating in Singapore
- Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding
- Have group annual turnover of not more than $100 million OR group employment size of not more than 200employees
