(Spring, TX) Texas International Engineering Consultants (TIEC) announced today the launch of their new API Specification Q2 course. API Specification Q2 establishes the Quality Management System Requirements for Service Supply organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries.

Designed for anyone involved in the provision of services, service-related products, and operations of the Oil and Gas Industry. This 6–8-hour online course provides comprehensive guidance on how to comply with the API Specification Q2 requirements.

The 14 topical lessons are taught by leading experts on API specifications and quality management systems. Featuring a practical case study approach, the course will teach participants not just what the specification says – but how it applies in real-world scenarios.

The course also includes “Auditor on Location” lessons that provide real examples of common audit findings, as well as quizzes with immediate feedback to check understanding. In addition, the case study section takes participants through a simulated implementation of a quality management system.

The course concludes with a multiple-choice assessment of the material that participants may take up to two times to receive a certificate of completion with a score 70% or higher.

“We are excited to offer this course to help ensure that everyone involved in the provision of services in the oil and gas industry is up to date on the latest API industry standard,” says Ed Durante, President of TIEC. “We believe that this program can have a major impact on Oil and Gas development, safety, and performance.”
